Umpire strikes back after Adam Eaton questions strike zone

It wasn't over till after it was over late Friday for Adam Eaton.

Last call for the White Sox right fielder came courtesy of plate umpire Hunter Wendelstedt.

But Eaton wasn't ready to go home. Or leave home.

The umpire struck back when he called out Eaton on strikes to conclude a 4-1 loss to the Royals, then ejected him from a game that was over for voicing his displeasure with a strike zone that claimed eight Sox hitters looking.

Eaton not only was upset with the pitch that ended the game, he wasn't happy with a strike Wendelstedt called on him during his previous at-bat in the seventh.
