Twice is nice: White Sox turn second triple play of season

Twice is nice.

The White Sox turned their second triple play of the season on Wednesday night against the Houston Astros.

With runners on first and second, Astros' Jason Castro hit a ground ball right to third baseman Todd Frazier. Frazier stepped on third, then relayed the throw to Brett Lawrie at second, followed by Jose Abreu at first. It went 5-4-3.

On April 22 against the Texas Rangers, the White Sox turned the

first 9-3-2-6-2-5 triple play in MLB history.

The last time the White Sox turned two triple plays in one season was 2006.
