Adam Eaton and J.B. Shuck drove in fourth-inning runs for the Sox. Travis Ishikawa doubled to lead off the bottom of the ninth before Davidson's homer.
On the mound
Sox left-hander Jose Quintana allowed three earned runs on three hits, including two homers, with a walk and three strikeouts over four innings.
