Thompson Comes “Home,” Saladino Heads to Brewers

Outfielder Trayce Thompson, who made his major-league debut with the White Sox in 2015, was re-acquired yesterday from the Oakland A’s for cash considerations. Trayce had a slash line of .295/.363/.533 in 44 games with the Sox three years ago before he was traded to the Dodgers as part of the three-team deal that brought Todd Frazier to Chicago.

In a separate trade, the Sox sent infielder Tyler Saladino to the Brewers for cash considerations. Saladino had been with the Sox since 2015.
