The White Sox had an off day today after the home trip, Rick Hahn has been busy. The White Sox have traded Tyler Saladino to the Brewers for cash considerations. The White Sox sent cash considerations to Oakland to acquire Trayce Thompson.
Saladino first joined the Sox in 2015 after the All-Star break and ended up starting 53 games at third base after the White Sox parted ways with Conor Gillaspie. Last season, between the noted improvements in both Leury Garcia and Yolmer Sanchez and time on the DL, Saladino looked a bit redundant. With only nine at bats through the first 15 games this season, Saladino’s time seemed to be nearing it’s end.
