Strange as it seems, Drake LaRoche will be remembered in White Sox history long after some of the current players are forgotten.
In one of the wildest weeks in Sox annals, the 14-year-old son of designated hitter Adam LaRoche inadvertently became a political football, leading to the sudden retirement of his father, sparking a national discussion over children in the workplace and opening the window on a growing rift between executive Ken Williams and ace left-hander Chris Sale.
After living the dream of hanging with his dad all during the 2015 season, Drake's excellent adventure came to a crashing halt Tuesday in Glendale, Ariz.
