BALTIMORE -- The Orioles, after consulting with Major League Baseball and state and local officials, postponed Tuesday night's game against the White Sox.
It is the second consecutive postponement in Baltimore, which has captivated national news as protests that started over the weekend regarding the death of Freddie Gray have grown violent in pockets of the city. Baltimore was declared to be in a state of emergency late Monday night and the National Guard has been summoned to help restore peace.
The Orioles have not announced a makeup date for either Monday's or Tuesday's game yet and fans are encouraged to keep their tickets and parking passes until more information is made available.
