White Sox rookie Carlos Rodon will try to continue his recent streak of solid starts when the Sox host the Mariners in the opener of a four-game series Thursday night at U.S. Cellular Field. The Sox won two of three against the Mariners over the weekend.
At the plate
Sox center fielder Adam Eaton will lead off, followed by left fielder Melky Cabrera, first baseman Jose Abreu, designated hitter Avisail Garcia, right fielder Trayce Thompson, shortstop Alexei Ramirez, third baseman Tyler Saladino, catcher Tyler Flowers and second baseman Carlos Sanchez.
On the mound
Rodon has given up three earned runs over 22 innings pitched in his last three starts.
