Michael Kopech is one of the more zen White Sox prospects.
The fire-balling right-hander said that he uses meditation to stay on an even keel while he works his way toward the major-leagues as the Sox’s top pitching prospect.
“I meditate a lot and try to get into that state of mind,” Kopech said during Sox spring training camp Thursday in Glendale, Ariz. “It helps me be relaxed in games and when training comes around. It’s just something I picked up last year and started doing before every start and I realized how beneficial it was for me personally and I kept doing it throughout the offseason.
