The White Sox started their 40-man roster pruning by clearing out five spaces.
The club outrighted Brad Goldberg, Rob Brantly, Chris Volstad, David Holmberg and Rymer Liriano to Charlotte. Goldberg remains in the organization because it’s his first outrighting, while the others declared free agency.
