Yesterday’s Happy Highlights
The White Sox completed a three-game sweep over the Royals for their fourth straight victory. Red-hot Adam Eaton knocked out three hits including a home run and had a hand in the final two Sox runs; Erik Johnson was impressive in winning his first start of the season; Jose Abreu and Avi Garcia each delivered two RBIs and the back end of the bullpen shut the door for the 7-5 triumph.
The Sox jumped out to a 3-0 first-inning lead over KC’s Johnny Cueto and enjoyed a 6-1 advantage when Eaton smashed his 12th homer of the season, a solo shot, in the sixth.
