Steve Stone on White Sox prospects: Eloy Jimenez is 'going to be special' and Michael Kopech 'has to become a pitcher'

“I didn’t know a great deal about pitching at that point, although I thought I did,” Stone said before calling Sunday’s Rangers-White Sox game for NBC Sports Chicago.

“I was very much like Michael Kopech in that I threw 100 miles an hour,” Stone said. “He throws 102. I had a really good curveball, which held me in good stead because when I lost my fastball after two years in Candlestick Park, I was able to depend on it.
