Yesterday’s Highlights
The White Sox, behind back-to-back, sixth-inning homers by Daniel Palka (6, a two-run blast) and Adam Engel (2, a solo shot) plus outstanding pitching, won the rubber game of the three-game series over the National League Central-leading Brewers, 6–1, at Guaranteed Rate Field.
In addition to the two homers, Engel doubled in a run and José Abreu did the same with his major-league-leading 21st two-bagger. Alfredo González also registered an RBI single, his first big-league hit.
Pitching-wise, Dylan Covey gave up only an unearned run in five innings.
