During the course of a 162-game season, there are games that stand out. Some are historic, some are pivotal in the standings and others are simply more exciting than the norm. Last night’s 9–4 Sox victory over the Astros was one of those special games and arguably our best win of the season.
In the end, the Good Guys turned a triple play, Eloy Jiménez smashed a pair of solo homers, José Abreu belted his 12th long one and the coup de grace was Charlie Tilson’s grand slam — his first major-league home run — that put the game out of reach.
