It turned out to be a fun weekend in The Bronx. The White Sox took two of three games from the Yankees and captured yesterday’s rubber match, 5–2, on the strength of Tim Anderson’s first career grand slam and some strong pitching.
As satisfying as Sunday’s game was, it’s pretty tough to top Eloy Jiménez’s magical game Friday night against the Yanks as he slammed his first two major-league homers in an exciting, rain-shortened 9–6 White Sox win at Yankee Stadium.
