As the White Sox enjoyed a day off yesterday, a group of former major leaguers plus one at Class AAA Charlotte and four top Sox prospects at Class A Kannapolis enjoyed productive nights:
* OF Charlie Tilson (pictured above), who is having an outstanding season with Charlotte, belted his first homer of the season, a solo shot in a loss to Toledo. Tilson, a Chicago area native who batted. 265 in 106 at bats in 2018, is batting .375.
* SS Alcides Escobar, a former All-Star with the Royals, collected a pair of hits for the Knights.
