Baseball America had Greene ranked 244th in their pre-draft rankings, so it seemed like a value get when the White Sox were able to get him 468th overall. The club projected him to be an average defensive catcher with an average arm, and based on his first stint in pro ball with the AZL Sox, it does seem like Greene has a ways to go behind the plate.
