The Cardinals, White Sox and Dodgers are in agreement on a three-team deal that will send right-handed reliever Michael Kopech and infielder Tommy Edman to Los Angeles and right-hander Erick Fedde and outfielder Tommy Pham to St. Louis, sources confirmed to ESPN amid multiple media reports Monday.
The White Sox will be getting Miguel Vargas and a haul of prospects in return, sources confirmed to ESPN.
Kopech, 28, is 2-8 with a 4.74 ERA and 9 saves in 43 2/3 innings across 43 appearances this season for the White Sox, with whom he's pitched since entering the majors in 2018.
