CLEVELAND -- Adam Eaton was out of the lineup on Sunday but White Sox manager Robin Ventura doesn’t seem anxious about a long-term absence.
The leadoff man exited in the eighth inning of Saturday’s victory over the Cleveland Indians with a sore left shoulder and wasn’t in the lineup on Sunday, either.
J.B. Shuck started in Eaton’s place. Ventura believes Eaton -- who went on the disabled list twice in 2014 -- will return to the lineup on Monday when the White Sox open a four-game series at the Boston Red Sox.
“Not concerned about it, just feels he needs today,” Ventura said.
