How about this for a unique piece of Michael Jordan memorabilia? A bus.
Not just “a” bus but “the” bus that Jordan rode — and drove — during his season playing minor league baseball with the Birmingham Barons in 1994.
Now, the legend goes that Jordan bought the bus so the team could travel in style and comfort greater than that typically reserved for a Double-A baseball team. Apparently that’s not exactly the case.
“It makes for a great story and a much better story to say he bought the bus. But that’s far from the truth,” Barons broadcaster Curt Bloom told Our Chuck Garfien on the White Sox Talk Podcast.
