Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC) has its list of annual fundraising events — from Family Field Day and the Garage Sale to Sox Serve Week and the Field of Greens Celebrity Golf Outing. All of these fan-favorite events returned in 2018, but the White Sox Young Professionals Council (YPC) hopes that fans have room on their calendars for a new event.
YPC will hold Sail with the Sox on July 16, bringing White Sox baseball to a new venue: Lake Michigan. The evening cruise on the Spirit of Chicago Fiesta Deck will allow fans ages 21 and over to pretend they’re on the Potomac River keeping an eye out for Home Run Derby slugs while also enjoying unlimited beer, wine and soda as well as a buffet dinner.
