Royals 8, White Sox 2: Jose Abreu reaches milestone

A followed-from-afar bullet-point recap:

*Jose Abreu reached 100 RBIs for the fourth straight season. He didn’t reach it in the most thrilling fashion — a groundout to third with the bases loaded, and one on which Mike Moustakas should have thrown home — but it’s 100 RBIs nevertheless. He’s the third player in MLB history, joining Albert Pujols and Joe DiMaggio, as the first player with 25 homers and 100 RBIs in each of his first four seasons.

*That was the chief highlight, as the White Sox lost a Dylan Covey start.
