Carlos Rodon credits becoming more comfortable in his pregame routine with finding better comfort in games this month.
In his last three starts — two against the Angels and one against the Mariners — the White Sox's rookie left-hander has given up three earned runs over 22 innings, the most consistent stretch in his short career. The rookie will take the mound Thursday at U.S. Cellular Field for the series opener against the Mariners, against whom he allowed one earned run over seven innings last week.
"We got it down about the Angels start (Aug. 11) when everything was consistent with what we were doing," Rodon said.
