White Sox manager Robin Ventura said he doesn't envision using one player as the designated hitter after the departure of Adam LaRoche.
He said he believes he will switch it up among the outfielders, most likely using Avisail Garcia, Melky Cabrera and Adam Eaton in the role. Over the last week, as likely starters still received days off, Ventura used a different player every day at DH.
"I really see that fluctuating between the outfielders," Ventura said. "We'll be able to give a guy a breather, depending on who is throwing, who's pitching for us, what makes sense.
