Robin Ventura is still here, but for how long?

After he finished talking (or really not talking) about his future with the White Sox on Wednesday, manager Robin Ventura sat down next to another former Sox third baseman, Bill Melton, and shared a few laughs in the home dugout.

Current Sox third baseman Todd Frazier joined them and the three slugging third basemen took a few promotional pictures for the team. Frazier, who has 38 homers as a third baseman, beat Ventura’s single-season record of 34 homers from 1996. Ventura had edged out Melton, who had 33 homers in 1970 and 1971.

When Frazier brought out some bats, Ventura jokingly asked for his own signature model.
