Robin Ventura will return as White Sox manager in 2016 but he’ll have a different staff around him.
White Sox general manager Rick Hahn said Friday afternoon that Ventura would be on the bench for a fifth season come April. However, the White Sox seek a new bench coach as they dismissed Mark Parent late Thursday. They also will be in need of an assistant hitting coach as Harold Baines requested a change and will become an ambassador.

Ventura is believed to be under contract for one more year.
