Reynaldo Lopez's 'command' is key to White Sox avoiding sweep against Rays

Reynaldo Lopez hasn’t lasted more than five innings in either of his two starts this season, but the White Sox will count on him to spare a taxed bullpen when he takes the mound in the series finale against the Rays.

Lopez (0-1, 10.00 ERA) faces fellow right-hander Tyler Glasnow (2-0, 0.82) to cap the first homestand of the season. The Sox start a three-game road series against the Yankees on Friday.

If the Rays win Wednesday, it would be the third time they’ve swept the Sox in their history but the first time on the road.
