Reynaldo Lopez began the White Sox’s six-game homestand Monday against the Indians with what he called his best outing of the season.
He’ll close out the homestand as the starter Sunday against the Blue Jays.
The right-hander allowed one earned run on two hits in 7 2/3 innings Monday against the Indians. He struck out six and walked two.
“Hopefully (Sunday) is the same, that’s he’s repeating his delivery,” Sox manager Rick Renteria said. “He understands certain keys that they were working on in his last work session (and) took it to the game.
