Lopez quickly brushed off the blast.
“In the first part of the game you can’t lose control of your game plan,” Lopez said through an interpreter. “Turn the page and get your work done. Try to execute the next pitch and be better from that time on.”
Lopez did just that and settled in for what he deemed his best outing of the season.
