One little finger caused a big setback for White Sox reliever Matt Albers this season, but he said he felt like he "didn't miss a beat" in his first major-league pitching appearance in three months Sunday.
"I was able to get in a groove rehabbing and I felt good the last game," said Albers, who threw 22/3 scoreless innings.
Albers, a 32-yar-old 10-year major-league veteran who joined the Sox on a minor-league contract in the spring, hasn't had much time to show the Sox what he can do this season.
He last pitched April 19 before he fractured his right pinky finger in the Sox's brawl against the Royals.
