Jose Quintana may be off to a tough start to 2017 but that doesn’t mean teams have lost interest. According to Bruce Levine, the Red Sox and Nationals had some their top scouts watching Quintana, and several other Chicago White Sox players. It’s no secret Washington is in search of a closer. Levine reports the Nationals watched David Robertson twice while Boston has their eyes on Quintana.
Remember, Rick Hahn struck huge trades with both aforementioned clubs during the offseason. However, the White Sox still have a lot of trade chips. Quintana and Robertson are at the top of the list.
