Robin Ventura and Jerry Reinsdorf had a little chat in front of the White Sox dugout before Friday night's game.
The Sox had lost seven in a row and later dropped No. 8. The Sox manager and chairman no doubt exchanged initial pleasantries before acknowledging there is a sense of urgency in the air.
"There always is when you're playing like this and there's questions," Ventura said Saturday. "He's like anybody else, he wants to know what's going on. I think he'd probably look at the offense and say, why? But you have those conversations, they're very upfront and honest.
