Projecting the internally developed 2021 White Sox roster

Rick Hahn set 2019 as the earliest season the White Sox could be competitive if everything breaks right. If they follow the Cubs' model, that means they will surprise and win a division in 2019, win the World Series in 2020, and then be frustratingly inconsistent when they should be in their prime in 2021.

Looking four seasons down the road will give us a view of a White Sox team with all the primary prospects of their current system likely graduated. But it’s also functionally impossible to project. There will be loads of prospect attrition, plus they’re picking at or near the top of next year’s draft and those players will likely be part of their core as well.
