The Bulls will open their preseason against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday with a starting lineup of Jerian Grant, Justin Holiday, Paul Zipser, Bobby Portis and Robin Lopez.
Aside from Lopez, all of those names could change on a game-by-game basis as the Bulls try to figure out how best to use their new roster.
Point guard battle wide open
Jerian Grant will get the first crack at starting during the preseason, but Fred Hoiberg has been pleased with all of his potential point guards thus far.
“The thing I’ve been most impressed with Jerian, this goes back to our mini camp that we had before summer league, is the leadership qualities that he’s showed,” Hoiberg said.
