Adam Eaton said he always has had "Gold Glove winner" on his list of career goals, and the White Sox outfielder takes pride in working his way into that conversation with awards season around the corner.
Entering Tuesday night's 8-1 victory over the Indians at U.S. Cellular Field, Eaton led all of baseball with 18 outfield assists, the most for a Sox outfielder since Minnie Minoso and Jim Rivera in 1955. He is second with 22 defensive runs saved to Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts' 26 and tied for ninth among position players with an overall WAR of 5.
