O’s down White Sox 6-3

BALTIMORE – The White Sox and Orioles resumed their four game series on Friday night in Baltimore, after the O’s roughed up John Danks on Thursday night, handing the White Sox their first loss in seven games.

Carlos Rodon carried a shutout into the fifth inning, only allowing one hit, and no walks to that point. That was before the White Sox made two uncharacteristic errors, and allowed the Orioles to plate three runs, while running Rodon’s pitch count to rise into the seventies.

The White Sox would rally to tie the game with a run in the sixth inning, and a solo home run in the seventh by Brett Lawrie.
