One run is all it takes to keep the White Sox down on the road these days.
Jeff Samardzija delicately avoided danger for most of Wednesday night but the Sox offense could not reward him in a 1-0 loss to the Angels that extended the club's road losing streak to seven games.
Samardzija allowed one run in seven innings, a homer to Carlos Perez in the sixth, and that was the difference.
The Sox have scored four runs in three games of the series, and this might sting more because it ended on an overturned call.
