GLENDALE, Ariz. — White Sox relievers Zach Putnam and Jake Petricka both said they’re feeling fine after suffering minor injuries over the last few days.
Putnam tweaked his right hamstring while stretching before working out Friday. He was supposed to pitch that day but was scratched out of an abundance of caution.
“Nothing to be worried about,” Putnam said. “I think at this point in the spring, just being cautious and making sure it doesn’t turn into something that’ll start me on the shelf is the main goal.”
Putnam isn’t listed as being scheduled to throw before Thursday.
