Nate Jones activated from the DL, Daniel Webb put on the 15-Day DL

It's time, baby.

The White Sox have activated Nate Jones from the 60-Day DL. To make room on the roster for him, Daniel Webb has been placed on the 15-Day DL with a "mid-right back strain".

Jones had Tommy John surgery last season after injuring his elbow while rehabbing from lower back surgery. He took part in spring training with the White Sox but never appeared in a game. He stated his actual rehab with Winston-Salem on July 10. On July 20, he moved to Charlotte. Over 6u2153 innings at Charlotte, he's given up three hits, one run, two walks and three strikeouts, although all the strikeouts were in his last game on August 2.
