Major League Baseball Monday announced its postseason schedule, including dates for the two wild card games.
The American League wild card game will be Tuesday, Oct. 6 and televised on ESPN. The National League wild card game will be Wednesday, Oct. 7 and will be on TBS.
The regular season is scheduled to end on Oct. 4 and if any tiebreaker games are required, they would be played Oct. 5.
The Division Series both start on Oct. 8. The ALCS, telecast on Fox, starts Oct. 16 and the NLCS, telecast on TBS, will start Oct. 17.
