ZACK COLLINS
Zack Collins, a native of Pembroke Pines, Florida, has established himself as one of the White Sox’ top prospects. He entered the 2018 season rated as the u21166 prospect and possesses the Best Strike-Zone Discipline in the White Sox organization, according to Baseball America. A promising young catcher, Collins was drafted in the first round (10th overall) in 2016 and was the first backstop to be chosen in the first round by the South Siders since 1994.
Collins appeared in 113 games between Class A Winston-Salem and Class AA Birmingham in 2017, finishing eighth in all of Minor League Baseball with 87 walks.
