Miguel Gonzalez will make his return appearance to the White Sox on Tuesday night against the Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre.
He wasn’t away for long.
Gonzalez made 23 starts with the Sox in 2016 and 22 starts in 2017 before the Sox traded him to the Rangers on Aug. 31. After recording a 6.45 ERA over five starts with the Rangers, Gonzalez re-signed with the Sox in January on a one-year, $4.75 million contract.
Gonzalez, 33, begins his seventh major-league season after putting up a 5.40 ERA over four Cactus League starts this spring.
