Right-hander Miguel Gonzalez will make his White Sox debut Monday night in the opener of a three-game series against the Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre.
Gonzalez was called up from Triple-A Charlotte on Monday afternoon after going 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA over two minor-league starts this year.
He pitched for four seasons with the Orioles, and went 7-3 with a 2.61 ERA over 13 appearances against the Blue Jays in American League East play.
“He’s seen these guys enough,” Sox manager Robin Ventura said.
