It doesn’t really matter whether Manny Machado or Bryce Harper sign free-agent contracts with the White Sox or not.
Sure, either of them would be tremendous additions to the club. Please, sign on the dotted line. The White Sox will instantly be better.
But to the players already here, they’re charging ahead with supreme confidence in the White Sox future, even if it means Machado or Harper decide to play elsewhere.
