PHOENIX — Matt Davidson and David Holmberg talked about the good old days after both made their return to Chase Field in Monday’s loss.
The two current White Sox players both made their major league debuts for the Arizona Diamondbacks in August 2013. They took time to reflect on that after each appeared in Monday night’s 5-1 White Sox loss. Davidson grounded into a double play while Holmberg pitched a scoreless inning.
“It’s been a lot,” Davidson said. “It seems like forever ago, it really does. I guess it was four years now. A lot of good memories here, and I can’t thank them enough for everything they taught me.
