WHITE SOX PLACE LUIS ROBERT ON INJURED LIST; RECALL ALEX McRAE FROM SCHAUMBURG
CHICAGO – Prior to tonight’s series opener vs. Detroit, the Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Luis Robert on the injured list and recalled right-handed pitcher Alex McRae from the Schaumburg training facility.
Robert, 23, is hitting .305/.356/.463 (25-82) with eight doubles, one triple, one home run, six RBIs and 10 runs over 21 games this season, his second with the White Sox.
