The right-hander feels prepared for the season, which begins Thursday evening in Anaheim, Calif., against the Los Angeles Angels.
“For us, it’s knowing how good we are, it’s knowing the amount of work it takes on a daily basis, the amount of high-intensity focus to be able to deliver our best product day in and day out and prove to ourselves and everyone else that we are as good as we say we are,” Giolito said Wednesday.
“He looks comfortable and, obviously, confident,” Hahn said Tuesday. “And we’re eager to get going with him kicking us off.
