Lucas Giolito has been reinstated from the injured list and will start tonight as the White Sox begin a four-game series against the Red Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Giolito is 2-1 with a 5.30 ERA in four starts. The right-hander last appeared on April 17 and exited in the third inning because of a strained left hamstring.
Giolito has 23 strikeouts and 10 walks in 18 2/3 innings.
He returns as the Sox lose Carlos Rodon. The left-hander was placed on the 10-day injured list with left elbow inflammation.
