Reynaldo López (pictured above) shut out the Rangers on two hits for eight brilliant innings, Welington Castillo blasted a monster homer and Leury García drove in a pair as the White Sox blanked the Rangers, 3–0, to take three of four in the first series of the eight-game homestand at Guaranteed Rate Field.
López, who struck out eight, earned his first victory of the season and chalked up single-game career highs in innings and pitches (107).
Lefty reliever Jace Fry came on in the ninth and shut down the Rangers in order with two strikeouts to earn his first big-league save.
