Leury García goes 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs and Tim Anderson goes 4-for-4, leading the Chicago White Sox to a 6-1 win against the Minnesota Twins

MINNEAPOLIS — Chicago White Sox second baseman Leury García came within a double of hitting for the cycle during a 6-1 victory against the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday at Target Field.

García hit a two-run home run in the second inning, singled in the fourth and had an RBI triple in the sixth. He grounded out to second in his final at-bat in the eighth.

Center fielder Adam Engel had two doubles and scored twice in his return from the injured list. He had been out since June 22 with a strained right hamstring.

Third baseman Jake Burger singled, doubled and had an RBI, right fielder Brian Goodwin had two hits and an RBI and Billy Hamilton had two hits and scored once.
